Kidney Bean Gypsy Dip, Medieval Recipe

Serves 4 generously for about 200 calories each

Dips tend to run from diets so we crafted this tasty low calorie, low fat dip that's light on any reputable gypsy's hips.  If thy be hosting a village or a small crowd, simply double the recipe - as many times as thy so wish.

This tasty dip can be served with baked tortilla chips, or rolled into a warmed corn tortilla shell.  Serve this dip either hot or cold and be certain to enjoy with a gypsy.

Ye Old Ingredients
2 Cups Kidney Beans, Drained
1 Tablespoon Chili Powder
1 Tablespoon Ground Cumin
2 Tablespoons Picante’ Sauce
Non-Stick Cooking Spray
1 Purple, White or Yellow Onion, Chopped
4 Ounces of Skimmed Mozzarella Cheese, Shredded
½ Cup Lite Sour Cream

Blend kidney beans till smooth – or chunky if thy like thy dip chunky.  Dips are a bit like peanut butter - some villagers like them smooth while others must have them chunky.

Next, add the chili powder, cumin & picante’.  As a note, Wal-Mart and Sams carries this delightful chipolte sauce containing peaches and pineapples while is to live for!  We give it three thumb's up!

Next, spoon thy mixture into an oven-proof pie plate that hath been sprayed with non-stick spray.  Top with onion & cheese.  Bake till cheese melts.  Dollop with sour cream if desired.
