Ye Queen's Medieval Fitness Rules

Medieval Diet Spirit

 * Sluggish metabolism – a system that needs recharging.

At the beginning of The Medieval Diet these words were sounded to thy flared ears.  The time hath come to expound.

When a villager doesn’t feel physically well, they doth not feel mentally well.  And when a villager doesn’t feel mentally well, they doth not feel spiritually well.  Their merry takes flight.

Sometimes, villagers need a recharging.  And oft times we hear these words, “Sluggish metabolism OR a system that needs recharging.”  Directly following comes generally a Village Commercial from a Village Dietmonger peddling their miracle ‘pick-me-up’ product.

We hate to be the bearers of bad news, but a sluggish metabolism is a very vital & necessary part of dieting.  Another word to identify these phrases be, “The Old Weight Loss Plateau”.

Thru The Medieval Diet we hath touched greatly on The Plateau.  Tho it is not a fun place to be, it is thy body’s way of resting & regrouping.  And remember the secret we shared.  Thy may’st expect to lose weight at a must faster rate directly following a slow walk on The Plateau.

Therefore, the bottom line be this…  To keep thy spirit charged, thy must do well to keep thy body charged with nutritious things from the Peasant Farmer’s fields.  Fruits, nuts, vegetables, eggs, milk – all of these with help keep thy body charged & on the straight & narrow Old Diet Trail.

If thy be seized with gloom, know in thy good heart that it wilt soon pass.  For as thee knows, good things wilt soon come to thee!

* Daily spirit exercises to keep thy spirit fit.

During these unfortuitous moments, read an uplifting book, visit a faire friend, or talk with thy donkey, Will.  Take time to meditate & relax!
