Bar Maid Buttermilk Pie © Serves 8 generously for about 235 calories each A delectable pie for Lords & Ladies alike. The rich surge of buttermilk, essence of lemon, a throb of REAL sugar all meet at the fork of Tine & Dine.
To thy buttermilk add the lemon extract, the butter spray, the margarine, the egg substitute, the sweeteners & the lemon peel. Melt margarine & add to thy bowl. Slowly incorporate the flour. Pour rich mixture into thy unbaked pie shell. Bake in a 375 degree preheated oven for 5 minutes. Reduce heat to 350 degrees & bake till knife inserted in centre of pie comes out clean – about half an hour.
