Dieting Tips - Let Thy Hair Hang Down...well,
just every now and then! ©
Note that many of the
recipes in The Medieval Diet allow REAL goodies that for the most part
art considered taboo by the diet gurus of the world.
Just because thou art
on a diet doesn’t mean that thy should’st be punished! In fact, it ‘tis
of the utmost importance that thou be allowed REAL goodies into thy belly, least
thy take a hard fall off the diet wagon.
Let these be part of thy
weight loss goals:
Eat
thy daily quo of feasting, then stop. At this point, thy should’st take
stock of a 1,200 – 1,500 per day calorie maximum till thy weight ‘tis stabilized.
Allow
thyself familiar goodies, even fat goodies, but limit thyself to a faire share.
A few spoons or a few bites wilt be more apt to keep thee on thy diet
rather than knock thee off the true path. Be certain to include these
goody calories in thy daily count!
